Thank you

We are a group of students attending Clark College taking a small group
communications class. One of our assignments is to develop an
original community
service project
to complete by the second week of June. After brainstorming and
voting, we have decided that we want to bring awareness to the
Clark College
community
about bike safety for adults and especially children. We are planning
a bicycle safety awareness event at Clark College that students at Clark can
bring their families and children to. If possible, we would like to have bike
helmets donated so that we can give them out to people. It would also be great
to have influential community members involved such as the
Vancouver Police
Department
, the fire department, and the Washington State Patrol to help pass
out bicycle safety pamphlets, help fit helmets, and talk with children. People
can bring their bikes to the event as there are plenty of trails to ride at
Clark. The proposed event will be held at Clark College in front of the Penguin
Union Building on May 26, 2009 from 2-5PM.
Thank you
Dora
